Wanted!! Blanket fort engineer for shy cat!
Calgary Humane Society, on behalf of Anyo the brown tabby, is seeking an experienced blanket fort engineer capable of constructing feline friendly forts. Potential adopters must have adequate space for blanket fort construction, and ability to reconstruct and reconfigure forts as directed by Anyo. Comfort with a variety of blanket fort mediums (cardboard boxes, chairs, couch cushions) would be considered an asset.
About Anyo: Anyo is a chunky brown tabby boy surrendered to Calgary Humane due to circumstances beyond his control. Anyo is seeking a calm and quiet home to support him as he gains confidence. Wide open spaces bring out Anyo`s timid side, while blanket forts offer a secure environment for epic snuggles and showing off his sweet and playful nature. Anyo brings superb biscuit making skills, a rumbly purr big enough to match his size, and enthusiasm for wand toy play and cheek scritches.
About you: You are a loving, cat-friendly adopter with a quiet home and no small children. You are looking for a gentle, affectionate cat to bring joy into your life. Ideal adopters are willing to be patient with Anyo as he settles in and builds confidence. Additionally, you are willing and able to construct a variety of cozy hiding spots to offer Anyo comfort as he adjusts. Most importantly, you recognize the value of lazy days spent snuggling and relaxing in a blanket fort.
If it sounds like you and Anyo might be a match for each other, then hurry over to Calgary Humane and make his dreams come true!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
