Good day everyone! I am a white Jindo mix boy with a beautiful fluffy white coat, looking for my forever home! I might seem little shy in the beginning so please give me few days and I will slowly get to know you. If you offer me some treats, I will gladly take them. Please keep in mind that I do not like to get lifted under my belly as it frightens me. ☹ Once my initial shyness fades away, I will approach you first. You may then pet me gently! 😊
With other dogs🐾, I am not the one to pick fights, even when they try to provoke me. I think my initial shyness applies when it comes to my dog friends as well. I get shy when I first meet them, but I will still say hello. But again, I will not necessarily play with them unless I know them well. I feel more comfortable when I spend time with my very own friends🐕. I remember visiting a dog park last time. While other friends were all playing and running around the park, I was busy on nose work the entire day! 🐾💕
You can absolutely call me a food lover! I think of myself as a dog who loves to eat almost everything. It is a bit embarrassing to say, but I must admit that I sometimes lick my friends’ lips while they are eating. But that does not necessarily mean I guard my own food against anybody so do not get me wrong. I will not be aggressive or anything. It is just me getting so hungry all the time. ☹ What else do I like? Oh yes, I absolutely love walking🚶. I can proudly say I am a pro! I know how to walk properly without pulling on my leash while staying under guidance. If I feel like going outside for a walk, I will start wagging my tail! During my walk, I often sniff wherever I go. I like to take my time to sniff, and then go to my next stop for more sniffing! Outdoor potty breaks 🚽 are my preference so please ensure to take me outside often. After a walk, I am all about chilling quietly on my own🏡. I am not really a barker, unless I really need something urgent. So when you hear me barking, that means I am asking for something. I am also able to get in and out of a vehicle on my own.
There are couple of things that may frighten me. I get scared when someone tries hug/hold me with a pressure, as well as if I see a posture of getting a spank! I cannot exactly remember why and how it started but it really scares me. So, in case if you want to approach me, please be gently. I often get scared of cats too. One night, I heard some stray cats 🐱fighting outside. I quickly ran inside my crate and barked at them. Although I am not typically a barker, I was so scared that day! I remember playing with a cat 🐱 and suddenly the cat started to smack my face ☹. I did not know what to do but to continue getting smacking. Again, I did not bark nor got aggressive. Bath is also another thing that scares me. I am a bit used to it now, but I still find it uncomfortable. What else is there? Oh, I once had an ear infection long time ago and someone tried to clean me. OMG. I got so scared but guess what! I was offered with some treats. I remember eating treats and by the time I finished my treats, things were all done. TREAT WINS ALL!
I am looking for a patient and loving human who understands that I may need a moment before I come over for cuddles. Once I get to know you, I am confident that I will be your loyal companion for life. If you are ready for a furry friend, I am the right boy for you. We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
