My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Kobe!

Kobe recently came to AFRP after Hitchcock Road Animal Services reached out to us for assistance in correcting his "cherry eye". Now recovered, Kobe is ready to find his furever family!

Kobe is your typical, scruffy, happy-go-lucky pup who's always excited to be involved and loved on! He's as playful as a puppy, and would absolutely love to find an owner who has as strong of a love for playtime as he does! Kobe is also one of the world's GREATEST love bugs and has no problem letting you know when he needs some pets and cuddles!

Kobe's preferred home would be with adult adopters or with families who have dog-savvy children over the age of 6 at this time. He may do just fine in a home with another playful pup as well as with dog-savvy cats given slow and proper introductions.

Kobe is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our online dog application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
