My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cardi, a dog with real star power! This energetic pup is always ready for action, whether she's chasing her favorite chew toys or jumping for joy. With her spirited personality and love for adventure, Cardi thrives on playtime. Her enthusiasm is contagious. She'll turn any day into a celebration! When playtime winds down, Cardi enjoys curling up for cuddles and relaxing after a fun-filled day. She already knows some obedience cues, including "sit". She loves ear scratches and being petted. Cardi is ready to find a home where she can share her energy, affection, and plenty of fun!

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed every TUE-THUR from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
