My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hidy do! My name is Barney and I am so happy to meet you! I am hoping that maybe I can find a home soon! Say, maybe you could help me with that! I am a young terrier mix that was brought in by Animal Control. I was never claimed and then I went up for adoption. I am excited to meet lots of new folks and I hope that maybe I can meet you! First a little bit about myself. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am still a young puppy so if you adopt me, please remember I will need lots of exercise, plenty of chew toys, and a ton of love and affection. Do you have time for a busy puppy?

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
