My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brutus is a handsome 6yo Black German Shepherd with German and Czech bloodlines. He is registered. He was born on on my parents horse farm in Urbana Ohio. My 85yo dad for health reasons has been unexpectedly placed in nursing home. My dads situation will not improve and Brutus is in dire need of finding a new forever home.
Brutus is a great protector, very loyal and affectionate with his master. He has been trained and responds to voice commands.
He has lived on the farm with horses, donkeys and other cats. He has not been exposed to children or other animals, other than horses, donkeys and cats.
He guards the farm as an inside dog but spends supervised time in the pastures. He alerts by barking and growling at strangers until commanded to stop. He has never attacked or bitten anyone.
Time is of the essence. He needs placement within the week.
