Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To say that Jasper loves water is putting it lightly. It doesn't matter if it's from a water hose or a pool or even if you turn on the shower in the bathroom, he is ready to get wet. He is still a puppy with a ton of energy. He knows how to sit and lay down but still needs additional leash training. He also enjoys car rides and is egger to jump in as soon as you open the door. If introduced slowly and properly he warms up to other dogs and loves other dogs to play with him. We were told by the shelter that he doesn't do well with cats and we don't have any so we haven't gotten to observe his behavior around any. We have horses and when he first came in to foster with us he barked at them through the fence but he is a quick learner and he comes out to feed them with me every morning and we haven't had any problems.

Additional adoption info

Our animals are first seen through social media or adoptions events. Once an adopter falls in love, We provide our adoption application. Once filled out we call references, vets if listed, and call the adopter to ask a few questions to see if they are a right match for the animal. From there the application is approved and meet and greets are scheduled. We allow trial adopts to make sure everything is perfect and if all is perfect we finalize adoption and collect adoption fee.

We have no public facility. All of our animals are in foster homes. We host weekly adoption events where lots of animals are available to meet!

Hello we are Happy Hounds Animal Rescue. Our mission is to enhance the over all quality of life of homeless animals. We focus on euth lists at our city municipal shelter. We place animals in foster homes through our program to provide a solid road to recovery awhile being fully health cleared and spay/neuter to help end the cycle of euthanizing for space in our local shelter.
