More about this rescue

Cat Cove was founded in February 2022. We are a small, at-home rescue with a big heart and a big goal to champion for community cats and kittens in need of assistance. We intake homeless felines, provide a safe haven, and seek necessary veterinary treatment and services so felines in our care are healthy and adoptable. We utilize programs to promote local adoptions as well as use our alliances with other rescues to locate more foster space and adoption opportunities. We work with families to safely rehome their pets and support the shelters by prioritizing foster space for intake to help prevent overcrowding of those facilities. We are always in need of volunteers and donations to help us continue our mission's work as a foster, resource, and rescue center for the Northern Neck of Virginia and its surrounding areas.
