My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I`m Bella! I`m just a young Cane Corso with a heart of pure gold.

Being a big girl like myself (even though I`m only 10 months and still have growing to do), this world is so big and scary to me. I get VERY spooked in new situations and environments, especially around loud kiddos or other doggos. I tend to try to move away quickly, give a few scared girl `woof woofs`, and hide behind my person for safety. They did start me on some meds to help me with these big scary fears that I have and they help me A LOT. I`m finding things can actually be really fun, like zooming around the park and playing with toys. WHO KNEW?! Treats are the key to my heart, and gentle encouragement, so I`m really hoping for an owner that has a lot of time to dedicate to helping me realize this world isn`t that scary after all and be comfortable using meds to transition me to my new home.

I`m a very smart cookie, and know how to sit and shake paw!! I`m not fond of being home alone because I just love my people so much, so I need a human that has the time to dedicate to a young lady like me.

I`ve never been with cats before, and while I used to live with other doggos, I struggled to mind my manners and stole their bones from them a lot, resulting in annoying my friends and causing some sibling rivalry. I`m willing to work on this and share things if you are willing to help teach me not to be a thief. I`d prefer to be the only dog but if you do have dog friends for me...they should be extremely calm and indifferent while I settle into my new home. Kids? Well, I think a home with loud unpredictable ones could spook me a bit. So I might do better with the quieter respectful kind.

I am insanely adorable and will come to you a lot for reassurance and comfort. I am very gentle, sweet, and love cuddling. I promise to always make you feel loved and appreciated, and hope you can do the same for me?

I am an underdog due to needing more training than most and needing to be on medication in my new home (possibly for life) so my adoption fee is up to you!
