Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ghost and Goblin are a rambunctious pair of cheeky little kittens. They are incredibly gentle guys and hardly ever expose their claws. They love exploring, playing with toys and chasing each other around. They are great with kids and love playing with their 9-month old human foster sister. They love playing with her toys and chasing her.
They are both healthy and seem to eat almost anything, though they prefer wet food to dry food. They get along well with the resident house cat, a 2-year-old male who enjoys watching them run around the house and play. They were temporarily at a home with other cats and dogs and they got along with them well. They weren't scared of the dogs. They are handsome, social and just want play, eat, cuddle and enjoying life.
Both Ghost and Goblin are incredibly friendly to strangers, and are the least scary kittens you'll ever come across, their names notwithstanding. They are cuddle bugs and would love to sleep with their foster parents on their bed if allowed. Ghost even gives great head massages, though it's unclear what his exact intentions are. Both kittens are super curious and still in the phase of exploring all nooks & crannies of the house. They are super adorable and a fun company humans of all ages and pets in the house.
Ideally they would love to be adopted together so they can continue growing up together. But they can be adopted individually if there is another young, active and playful kitten in the house. They will need a companion to play and wrestle with.
They are ready and hope to spend their holidays with their forever family.
Ghost's estimated birthdate is August 2024. He is current on age-appropriate vaccines, is negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been microchipped. He will need to be neutered when he is old enough.

At the adoption fairs, if you meet a kitten or cat that you want to adopt, you will be asked to complete an application and contract and leave a check for the adoption fee ($120 for an adult or $145 for un-neutered kitten of which $50 is a deposit that is refunded after you provide 4Paws proof of sterilization). We ask that you pay the adoption fee up front at the fairs in order to “put a hold” on the cat until your application is processed. If your application is not approved, your check is returned to you.
Neither cats nor kittens are sent to their new homes on the day of the fair. It usually takes 4-5 days to process the application before the cat can go to his or her adoptive home. Pre-approval is an option, though. To accelerate the adoption process, you can fax a completed application and contract to us at 703-560-9795 a few days before the fair. Adoption Applications are available on this website.

Adoption fairs are held once or twice a month at various PETCO stores in Northern Virginia. The adoption fairs are usually held on Saturday’s from 1:00 to 5:00. Between 30 and 60 cats and kittens are shown for adoption at each fair—with the larger fairs generally occurring April through October.
While they are waiting to find permanent loving homes, our cats temporarily live in foster homes. The foster families bring the cats and kittens to the adoption fairs to be seen by potential adopters. Applicants have the opportunity to handle the cats and in some cases, meet the foster parents who can provide additional insight into a cat’s habits and personality.
