 ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,  things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your  adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam  and follow up exams.~

Temperament: Meet Cannoli – the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet! This goofy boy is full of love, energy, and a little bit of sass! He’s never met a stranger and gets along great with other dogs! Did you know that having a dog can increase your happiness by 20%? Cannoli is ready to bring joy and laughter into your home. He loves to chat and is always up for an adventure, whether it’s hiking or traveling to the mountains! We’d love a generous soul to sponsor Cannoli’s DNA test so we can uncover more about his unique background! We have a strong suspicion that he is a crossbreed of a Pomeranian and a Husky. Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!

Our large volunteer base works tirelessly to help dogs in need by removing them from what are quite often hopeless situations, making every effort to do whatever it takes to insure the best outcome in order to offer each and every dog the highest chance at finding a forever home.
