My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tia!
Tia and her sister Tamera arrived to us when they were found near a dumpster and had a tough start to life but you wouldn't know it when meeting these two sweet girls! Tia is the one with the orange strip on her face and is the slightly more shy and mellow sister between the two. Most of the time Tia prefers to fill her days with lots of cat naps but will occasionally roam around the room and stir up some trouble with her sister or the other kittens she's made friends with. Tia and Tamera prefer to cuddle up and there hasn't been a time where they weren't touching in their sleep, even if Tamera wanted a little space, Tia found a way to hang her paw over the bed and rest it on her sister! It's the cutest! So what do you say? Are you looking for two tortoise sweethearts because Tia and Tamera would be the perfect fit!

Kittens require a significant amount of patience and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a kitten is a critical time to improve socialization and help your kitten become confident. Exposing your kitten to all kinds of touch, sounds, people, and animals can ensure a well-socialized adult cat. Remember, kittens aren't born knowing how to live in a human's world, it is up to you to teach them how to make good decisions in a positive and caring manner. The more positive interactions they have in their first year of life will set them up for better behavior in the future.

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
