Meet Fiona!
Fiona is our sweet but shy young gray tabby kitten who arrived to us with her brother Frank. Fiona is definitely the too cool for school sister between the two and prefers to watch Frank get up to his silly antics rather than participate in them herself. She's still on the more nervous side and tends to hide when there's humans around but she's slowly but surely learning that we're her friends and that we always bring yummy treats! Fiona's done well with other kittens but like with her brother, prefers to enjoy her space and peace and quiet. Fiona would do best in a home with a family that will continue to help build her confidence and help this sweet girl come out of her shell!

Kittens require a significant amount of patience and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a kitten is a critical time to improve socialization and help your kitten become confident. Exposing your kitten to all kinds of touch, sounds, people, and animals can ensure a well-socialized adult cat. Remember, kittens aren't born knowing how to live in a human's world, it is up to you to teach them how to make good decisions in a positive and caring manner. The more positive interactions they have in their first year of life will set them up for better behavior in the future.

If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
