Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Polar the gentle giant is a 3 year old great Pyrenees male. This gorgeous boy was surrendered to the shelter in Texas when his family decided they no longer wanted him, due to no fault of his own.
Polar is a sweet, friendly guy who always has love to give. While he is sad his family didn't want him any longer, he has heard about this really cool thing called snow, and he cannot wait to be out of the Texas heat!
He is good with people of all ages and other dogs, as well as cats! He particularly loves puppies!
Polar is potty trained in his foster home, however his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home in WI, especially as he lived outdoors while in Texas.
He is neutered, tested heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition.
His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
