My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucky is an adorable brown tabby kitten who came to us under unique circumstances. Lucky survived a 10 story balcony fall shockingly with no long-term injuries. He has a wonky front right leg as a result of this incident he had when he was 3 weeks old. He was hospitalized for several days after the incident before coming into our care. He has received x-rays and very careful veterinary monitoring since then, and we are happy to report that aside from having a funny leg, he is pain free, requires no medical care and can run, play and jump like a normal kitten! He is just extra cute!

As Lucky is a special boy, he needs a special home that has another pet companion that can meet his energy levels. In his foster home, he is often found parkouring off of his resident cats bodies and tackling them around the neck and tumbling and playing. As Lucky arrived as a singleton, he has what we call "singleton syndrome", where he needs to be gently corrected when he nips or bites humans. On the flip side, when Lucky's energy is exhausted, he is very content to curl up in his foster mom's neck and purr away until he falls asleep. His cuddle time is very much his choice, and he will let you know if he needs to zoom about instead of relaxing with his people.

Lucky is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
