My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Mia and I am a loving and beautiful brindle 5-year-old Chihuahua girl that weighs 9 lb and nothing short of total perfection. This very pretty girl is affectionate and adores women and not so sure about men since she's never lived with one but seems to be a little weary at times. We do think she would do best in a very quiet home with a more mature couple or woman.   This girl is a bed bug snuggler and will sleep with you every night as your best companion that doesn't snore. Mia will also earn her keep as a little watchdog that will let you know when something outside is moving around that shouldn't be. She is definitely housebroken and wants to be with her special person all the time and sitting on your lap if you will let her. If you work from home she's the best office administrative assistant you would ever want. She listens and minds well and she is smart. She walks well on a leash and if she gets out the door she might run for the hills a little bit. She is always been inside 24/7 and prefers the comfort of plush blankets and pillows and good food. If you were interested in this beauty that rides well in the car and could ride on airplanes as well, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
