My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Obi-Wan Cattobi: The Purr-fect Jedi Companion!**

In a galaxy not so far away, there exists a young Tuxedo cat named Obi, destined to bring balance to your home and warmth to your heart. With a coat as striking as the galaxy itself—deep black accented by pristine white—Obi is a true champion of the light side.

This sweet boy is not just a feline; he’s a cuddly Jedi Master in training! He adores the company of younglings and is used to the playful antics of children, proving that his heart is as big as the Force itself. When playtime commences, you’ll find him zooming around like a starfighter, his energy rivaling that of a podracing champion.

But fear not, for after the battle, Obi will return to his soft side, purring loudly as he settles into your lap for a well-deserved cuddle session. His affection is powerful, and once you experience his gentle nuzzles, you’ll understand why he’s truly the chosen one for your family.

Adopt Obi, and embark on an epic journey filled with love, laughter, and endless cuddles. May the purrs be with you!
IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adopt

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transport

We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.October 29, 2024, 9:29 pm

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
