Joanie is an adorable twenty-week-old, spayed female kitten who’s ready to bring joy to her new family! While she may be a little shy at first, Joanie quickly warms up and loves to play once she feels comfortable. She gets along wonderfully with other cats and enjoys having a feline friend to hang out with. Joanie has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a condition that affects her coordination, but she doesn't let that slow her down! She’s still full of energy, affection, and curiosity, and she’s looking for a loving home that will embrace her unique charm.

Monday-Friday: 1 - 5 PM
Saturday: 12 - 4 PM
Sunday: Closed

We do not allow public walkthroughs of our kennel areas in order to reduce the stress, fear and anxiety of our animals. Books are available at the front lobby for patrons to view our adoptable pets' pictures and bios.

The Animal Control Division is composed of one Animal Control Supervisor, three Animal Control Officers, and three Animal Shelter Assistants. The Animal Control Division provides enforcement of the City's ordinances on animal control. They work to balance health, safety, and welfare needs of people and animals. The Animal Shelter is a City owned and operated facility. It provides housing and other shelter services for Gillette and Campbell County.
