Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Mini Munchkin Moma!
Who says cute things don't come in small packages- they've obviously never met Moma! 30lb Moma has little legs, and a little head but a huge appetite for fun (and treats)! And because of her size, she is approved for families with kids and even gets along with most dogs she meets (but does prefer males)
Moma was found as a lost dog but getting to know her has revealed her wonderful personality! We estimate she's about 6 years old and still full of life spunk Moma is always interested in going for walks, there's no better feeling for her than stretching those legs and letting her curious nose wander!
Outside the kennels, Moma appears non-reactive to other dogs so she may be a great candidate for a canine companion! She has a great time meeting new people and has a basic understanding of commands! Moma is the BEST! Don't miss out!
We are open daily from 12-4:30 for adoptions, rescue, and fostering! Please email us for an application at tintonfallsahs@ahsppz.org or call us at 732.922.0100 with any questions!

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
