My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kazi (A134259) is a 7-month-old AK Husky who weighed 36.9 pounds on intake!

09/30/24 Kazi, previously known as Oz, is back at the shelter eagerly awaiting his new home. He is a shy guy but once you get to know him very loving! Kazi was said to do well with children, strangers, and adults and was described as playful and gentle! He was said to be kennel trained but is not fully housebroken. With a little work and patience, he would love to learn. We encourage his next owner to reach out to a certified trainer to continue building his confidence and to learn a trick or two! Kazi is a young dog and has an abundance of potential! He was known to be a chewer and digger which is common with his breed and age. Providing him with outlets for his energy and appropriate chew toys is important! If you are interested in meeting Kazi and possibly making him part of your family, please let us know!

04/22/24 These cute little puppies were found abandoned in a box. A good Samaritan brought them to the shelter in hopes that they could find their new loving families. In typical puppy fashion, they will need help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, continued positive socialization, and so much more! They are babies, after all! Puppies are a lot of work but 100% worth the effort! If you are interested in meeting any of these adorable little pups, please let us know!
