My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mirabel is a sweet, friendly cat who very much enjoys petting. She can usually be found lying on her foster mom's bed napping and waiting for some pets. Mirabel is always front and center at feeding time (she gets canned food for her evening meal and grazes on dry food the rest of the day). She is well-behaved but will slap any cat who tries to steal her dinner. She does not try to steal theirs and is never aggressive to any other cat, but she sticks up for herself. Her attitude is live and let live when it comes to other cats. She can take them or leave them but for people, she has a heart full of love and warmth. Mirabel is also smart. She knows how to please and catches onto routines quickly.

Mirabel came into her foster home at the end of March 2024. She was found as a stray at a spot where someone was feeding strays. So who knows how she got there? She had no microchip and was not spayed at the time.

Mirabel is happy to be with people of all ages as long as they respect her desire for a quiet, loving home.

Mirabel has been spayed, and fully vaccinated. Given a basic health check, and microchipped. If you would like to meet Mirabel, please respond to this post or contact her foster mom at jelpainter2006@sbcglobal.net. We are in San Jose.

Mirabel is currently living in San Jose, CA 95125

Additional adoption info

Please follow the "More information & application" link at the bottom of a cat's story, which will take you to our website where you'll see an "Adopt" link to the online application. The foster home will contact you directly to see if there is a match between you and the cat and arrange for you to meet. Only applications from the San Francisco Bay Area can be considered.

Our recommendation is that the foster home charge an adoption fee and execute an adoption contract.
