Meet Dove, a charming 13-year-old Pomeranian who’s searching for a loving family who can embrace his golden years ❤️.
Dove is a sweet and friendly senior dog who was surrendered through no fault of his own. He has some age-related eye issues—his left eye has no sight, and his right eye has nuclear sclerosis (not a cataract). He also has alopecia, leaving him with very little fur on his body and tail. To help Dove meet his forever family sooner, his adoption fee will be dropped to $100.
Dove is a friendly boy who loves everyone he meets, and loves getting pets! He’s great with women and men alike, and he has previous experience living with a young couple and their 4-year-old child, making him a wonderful addition to any family. He was surrendered with Bokhee, so he is used to living with other dogs, and gets along with them as well. Dove has not been seen around cats but he is most likely okay with them, given his non-aggressive demeanour and lack of a prey drive.
Dove has a medium energy level, is leash trained and house trained on peeps, and is currently in the process of crate training. Dove does bark occasionally, whether it’s to alert you to a visitor at the door or to express his excitement for food and treats. He does not have any destructive behaviours, no resource guarding, and is very accepting of being handled.
Dove was surrendered by his owner to a kill shelter along with Bokhee 💔.

Dove can arrive at Vancouver or Toronto airport and may be able to arrive at some US airports (Seattle, LA, NY, Boston etc) where we have flight volunteers. If interested, please contact us.
