Meet Raquel, a confident and affectionate 2-year-old shepherd mix with lots of love to give! Raquel is full of energy and enjoys being active, but she also loves attention and affection from her humans. She knows how to sit on command and walks well on a leash, making her a great walking buddy.

Raquel gets along well with other dogs and is curious about cats, though not aggressive. While she hasn’t been around kids much, her outgoing personality makes us think she’d do great with them! As a former mama bear to puppies, Raquel has a nurturing side, but she’s also ready for a home of her own.

Additional adoption info

For the benefit of your new family member we ask that you read and sign an adoption contract (available on our website) which outlines our expectations. For dogs our adoption fee is $195 which covers spay, shots, micro-chip, heartworm test, food, medication, veterinary visits and employee expense surrounding our adoptable animals. For cats our adoption fee is $125, which covers spay, shots, feline aids and leukemia test, food, medication, veterinary visits and employee expense surrounding our adoptable animals

Due to the active nature of our property, we always recommend you call before visiting. That being said, we have Team Members who work the kennels Mornings and Evenings.

More about this rescue

We provide animal related services to our local communities. We are currently partnered with multipule cities to provide Animal Control and/or sheltering within their City limits. As part of our daily outreach we pick up stray animals and try to get them back to their owners. In any case where the owner cannot be located and the dog is adoptable we reach out to both the internet community and our local communities to find loving homes.
