Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nova is a very energetic and playful dog. Her favorite things are food, tug-of-war, chase, fetch, and a flirt pole. She is smart, and she quickly learned tricks like sit, lie down, shake, play dead, spin, and more. She is very loyal, and loves to be around people. She'll follow you around like a shadow in hopes of a few pets or a round of tug, and she will be waiting eagerly for you when you come home.
She is young and from a shelter, so she does need some training. It is easy for her to get overly excited, and she struggles to settle down. Because of this, careful introductions should be made with children or other pets. We've been working on a lot of her quirks and she's improved immensely already, but she still struggles with some behaviors. She does them because she loves excitement and play, and we can't give her as much time as we want with our schedules. We're hoping to give her to a home where she can have more time to play, interact with others, and be a happier dog.
