My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buckbeak is a lovable girl in need of a forever home where she can be the main priority! She can be a little anxious at first meeting, but gains trust with humans quickly when she's shown love.

Buckbeak was surrendered to a veterinary hospital in Sebastopol due to behavioral concerns with other female dogs, and is currently being fostered with me in San Francisco. I've only known her for a couple days, but as soon as she came home with me, she let her guard down and became such a cuddly, affectionate, attention-seeking girl. At this time, I'd recommend that she goes into a home without other pets or where there is plenty of space for another pet to coexist! Happy to give more details here.

This girl would be such a sweet, easy-going companion for an experienced, responsible, and LOVING dog parent. I haven't heard her bark or whine once, and she's honestly just the most eager to please - she's been by my side since I brought her home!
