My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️
💟Available to fly to LAX💟

Meet Genie🪄

*People: He really loves people! He wags his tail and approaches even strangers! He’s a sweetie who shows affection and asks his family to play with him 🩷
*Dogs: When he meets dog friends during walks, he’s a gentle pup who sits and waits to greet them 🐕
*Separation Anxiety: When given a nose work toy before leaving, he focuses on the treats! Sometimes he waits by the door and falls asleep.
*Potty Training: 90% accuracy! He's still a puppy, so he's continuing to learn, and Genie is doing well with it! Occasionally, he has an excitement pee, but it's improving.
*Walks: Since his vaccinations aren’t complete, he is only taking light sniffs outside for now!
*Hygiene: He doesn’t like baths, but he endures them well 🧼
*Car Sickness: He used to whine in the car, but it seems to be getting better.

💌 Special Notes💌

*Since he is still young, training may be needed for separation anxiety, potty training, biting, whining, mischief, howling, and barking.
*Since his father is unknown, it's hard to predict shedding or his adult size.
*He doesn’t bark at all, but if he needs something, he whines softly. If you don’t give his food or don’t pay attention to him, he may let out a small “woof!”
*During his teething phase, he used to chew on baseboards and doorsteps, but after being redirected to toys, the frequency has decreased, and he’s also biting hands and feet less recently!
*He’s learned "sit," "shake," "nose," and "V"! He’s currently learning "spin" and "lie down"! 😎

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
