Ginger is a Red Heeler and makes the sweetest companion and loyal guard dog/watchdog for her owner. Her owner's child has an allergy and for that reason we're needing to re-home her. At 7 1/2 years old, Ginger loves fetching a ball and jumping in water to cool down. Blow up a balloon and bat it back and forth with her and she will crack you up. She does well sharing a home with other dogs. She would be better in a home without real young children (due to the herding), but she has done well with our 6-10 year old kids, even letting us know when one needs help. She is up to date on all vaccines, is spayed, and recently had her teeth cleaned. Ginger is not overly active but is a Heeler. She needs some room to move around (like a backyard), loves to go on walks/play fetch, and would do great if you give her a job to do.
