My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

I need a home where there are no other dogs.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!

My foster writes: Meet Snowcone, the charming husky with a personality as cool as his name and a heart as big as his boundless energy! This adventurous guy is the ultimate snuggle-buddy; if you're on the couch, he'll climb into your lap, leaning in for pets with the confidence of a dog who knows he's irresistible. He's a bit of a local celebrity too-Snowcone has a fascination with water that's led him to star in countless tourist photos as he jumps up on Central Park's water fountains, expecting you to hold the water for him.
Snowcone's quirks are as delightful as they are unique. Before bedtime, he'll do his "nesting" routine, digging and bouncing on his spot until it's just right, even though his space is a couch and not a patch of grass! And like any true husky, he's a talker, greeting you each morning with his signature "awoo, awoo, awoo" and a wagging tail that could brighten anyone's day.
He would thrive in an active home that understands his love for adventure and play-ideally with a yard, another energetic dog friend, or an owner who's ready to embrace Snowcone's zest for life. I find in NYC he needs around 1.5 hours of walking a day to not be too excitable at night. If you're looking for a smart, opinionated, and endlessly lovable companion, Snowcone is ready to be your loyal partner in all things fun and fabulous!
