My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Looking for a gorgeous, lovable dame cat to capture your heart? Look no further and meet Kitty! She has golden eyes that will draw you in and soft, long black and white fur to captivate you. She has spent years perfecting her talent of tapping her back feet in joy when being fed. She also has a brilliant smile to go with her beauty as well! She is a quiet and neat cat that would love to fill your days with joy and warmth. Adopt Kitty and experience the magic of kitty companionship!

A volunteer writes:
Kitty is a cutsy! I would love to brush her semi long hair and make her into a state of the art ball of fluff! Kitty is with us as her family moved out of state and could not take her along. She has now joined the "army" of seniors we house at the Manhattan Care Center  in order to find a new home for their golden years...Kitty likes to rest on her kuranda bed, feet dangling at the edges and observes keenly her surroundings. She is at her door as soon as she sees a visitor, leaning, head bunting and purring(see video). She is a bit shy at times, wondering about sudden noises or new people entering her area. She clearly misses company and would love to shine again in the new home we need to make happen for her. Kitty seems like a healthy gal with senior teeth. She is sweet, pretty as can be, social, already spayed and could go home today. Let's not make her wait too long...

I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!

Kitty interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. We recommend that she go to a home with adopters with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in new home adjustment.

A volunteer writes: Kitty is a funny cat who knows what she wants. Food dish empty but she's still hungry? She'll stare you down until you get the hint and pour more chow. Doorbell rings because company is coming over? She's not interested until she gets to know the house guest. This pretty lady came to the Care Center because her owner was moving, and her former person told us these and other amazing things about her--like how Kitty likes to watch out the window, is loving and laid-back, enjoys all treats, and has ace litterbox skills. Our behavior team noted that she's a fan of petting sessions and interacting with humans. Looking for a furry family member who will keep you entertained, while entertaining herself when you are not around? Kitty just might be your girl!
