My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie is a brave and sweet dog looking for a caring home to continue her recovery journey.

She came from a difficult past and is currently underweight, following a refeeding schedule from the shelter. She is now in a foster home, and her personality is really coming out. She loves people and wants to be snuggled 24/7.

Annie is friendly with other dogs but would prefer to be the only one in her new home. With patience and love, she will make an excellent companion for anyone willing to give her the care and attention she needs.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Most of our animals need a little "extra" to be successful in a home environment - fill out an app to see if you might be a good fit!

2.

Interview

Depending on your app, we may schedule a phone interview to discuss the particular needs of the animal you applied for.

3.

Home Check

Quick home check to make sure that your place is suitable for their new animal.

4.

Approve Application

After you application is approved, we schedule a time for you to meet the animal.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We require that all of our potential adopters do at least a two week adoption trial period before finalizing.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

After the trial period, if you decide to finalize the adoption we'll send you the paperwork.

7.

Pay Fee

After the contract is signed and their fee is paid, it's official!

Our support does not end at adoption. We continue to offer donation-based post-adoption services to help the new family. <3
