Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Trinket is living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin.
Hi, I’m Trinket! My foster mom says I’m the sweetest little girl in the whole world who brings joy to each person I meet. I’m calm, friendly, and affectionate – I’m pretty cute too! First, let me tell you a little bit about my story. I was initially in the Pasadena Animal Shelter where I was going to be euthanized because I needed an FHO surgery; thankfully, Lola’s Lucky Day in Houston rescued me, got me the surgery I needed, and gave me a second chance to live the magical life a princess like me deserves. I’ve been healing well from my surgery – I might sometimes still hold my back right leg up
or walk with a little hop but I feel good and it doesn’t slow me down one bit. In my foster home, I live with one adult, one senior, one teenager, both big and little dogs, and a cat and I’ve done well interacting with everybody. I’ve also been learning a lot in the short time I’ve been in my foster home. My foster mom has been amazed by how easily I’ve adjusted to the new routines and by how quickly I’ve been learning the ropes of house-training. I also do great in a crate – I just need my favorite donut shaped dog bed with the attached blanket and I’ll happily snuggle in for a rest. In fact, my favorite past times are cuddling in my bed, cuddling with my human, and sunbathing outside. I also enjoy getting treats and occasionally romping around the yard. My favorite food is Freshpet and I eat it for every meal. My foster mom says I’ll be the most loyal, loving companion you could ever imagine and that a good girl like me deserves a very special family – one who will spoil me and shower me with the love and attention I deserve. I’ve been on quite the journey to find my forever family – might you be the one to make this princess's dream come true?
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
