Additional adoption info

To adopt a pet from Save A Mom we require an online application, vet reference, and to be able meet you and your family.
Most of our moms and pups adopt for $400.00 which includes their vet exam, spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and heartworm/flea prevention.
When inquiring about a specific pet, we prefer emails, as time is limited to return phone calls.

Go meet their pets

Due to the amount of moms nursing their newborn puppies we do not have open shelter hours. Once your application has been approved we can schedule an appointment to visit the shelter.

More about this rescue

Save A Mom is a 501(c)3 non profit, all volunteer organization. We rescue pregnant dogs, newly whelped litters and orphan pups that were destined for euthanasia.

We are not breed specific. As long as there is space and the funds to care for them, we pull from any pound or shelter.
We rely on adoption fees and donations to provide for the dogs in rescue.

All of our pets, including the pups will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
