Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winnie is a cuddle bug with the energy of a three-year-old, although the shelter estimated her to be a few years older. Very smart, she knows sit, relax, wait, come up, paw, and crate, as well as walk, bedtime, car, backyard, and school. She likes daycare and, after a day there, will sleep like a baby after dinner. Winnie loves to walk-usually two miles a day-and to meet people. She is fickle about other dogs when on leash; take meetings slow. She likes tug and chase in the yard. Keep an eye out--she will go under a fence to chase a rabbit or stray cat. Her best buddy was our three-year-old neighbor until the family moved away.
Nothing will make her happier than to see you. She can be jumpy when excited and a little mouthy after a long separation, but if ignored, she can settle quickly. She is a barker and may not do well in an apartment. She is not especially food motivated-she just wants your praise. She does best with a steady routine--you will not need an alarm!
