My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful, playful girl is about 9 months old as of November, 2024 and she has been with us since June of 2024. She is an active, playful gal that loves people of all sizes. She is submissive with other dogs but loves to play with them if they are game. She has been around large and small dogs with no issues. When they growl or snap at her, she goes into submissive mode with little behind wagging. We think she would do well with any type of active family and one with children. We don't know about cats as we don't have cats to test with here at the rescue. And she loves toys! She loves to pick her own toys out of the box. She is almost leash trained but will need house training as she is a puppy and would do best with a family with a fenced yard for her to play in. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
