My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wilson, a sweet and shy little guy who prefers to come to you when he's ready for attention. He has a soft spot for feather wands and loves lounging in cat trees. Wilson gets along well with cats of all ages and would do just fine with a calm dog. While he's comfortable around strangers, he appreciates those who respect his space and allow him to make the first move. Wilson's gentle nature makes him the perfect companion for a home where he can blossom at his own pace.

More about this shelter

The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center (formerly the Riverside Humane Society) is an Adoption Guarantee Organization that takes in healthy, adoptable animals.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, updated on all vaccinations and microchipped upon adoption. They enjoy indoor, comfortable kennels and are socialized by volunteers on a regular basis.

Our mission is to eliminate the suffering of homeless cats and dogs by:

•Providing humane care for pets in transition
•Facilitating adoptions to loving homes
•Providing humane and pet overpopulation education to the public
•Supporting sterilization of companion animals
