Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sasha is a 5 year old Alaskan Malamute/Husky Mix. She is an absolute sweetheart! She has a great nose and her favorite pastime is going for walks and being allowed time to do all the sniffing she desires! It is breaking my heart to have to give her up. She gets along with other household pets (cat, kitten, small dog). Is completely housebroken. (She may need a little help being in a new place at first understanding). She is a rescue I've had for 2 years and was severely abused by the previous male owner who would whip her and keep her locked in her cage to live in her feces and urine. She needs very gentle reminding - You cannot raise your voice to her or act like you will hit her /hurt her in any shape or form. She brings so much happiness and positivity to our house. She smiles ALL the time (she did not know how to smile when we first got her and took her about 6 months to learn to smile. She is so happy and adores spreading sunshine. She is a people dog and wants to be near.
