My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact foster at regmartin27@gmail.com

• Marley is a very smart lab and learning quickly.
• She is crate and potty trained - first time for her learning to be in a crate I believe.
• Marley has a ton of energy and loves to go for walks and just being outside
• She understands the commands sit and down (laydown). We are learning `stay` among others
• Marley loves pets, belly rubs and cuddles, she will sit right on your lap if you get down on the floor. Overall a very affectionate girl.
• She loves her snacks, very responsive for training purposes
• Marley does have some behavior issues we are working through:
• She gets easily excited during playtime (running around) and will start to bite your feet/ ankles and jump up as a way to play. This has improved a lot since day one but still needs work especially when she`s out in a dog park and has more freedom to run. I currently use a 50ft leash to still control her, so I have not let her roam without being on some sort of lead.
• She also recently showed some leash biting (tug of war) that we are also working on. This is new behavior and might just be testing her boundaries because otherwise she has been very easy on the leash and loves to walk.
• Marley gets reactive to dogs when we walk - it depends on the breed of the dog most of the time
