Hi there! I`m Gumbo, and I`m a real softie. I love to cuddle up next to my favorite people and shower them with affection. I`m always happy to play a game of fetch, though I do tend to get a little distracted and end up chewing on the ball instead of bringing it back! But don`t worry, I`m just savoring the moment. When I`m not playing, you`ll often find me snuggling up next to you, content to just soak up all the love and attention. So if you`re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will always be by your side, then I`m your pup! I am fully grown at ~55lbs. How did I get here? Transferred from Gaston County Animal Care where I was found as a stray.
**I have a sophisticated medical history- please speak with an adoption specialist for details. I have been diagnosed with heartworm disease and will begin treatment soon - please speak with an adoption specialist for details.**
~My adoption fee is $120.00~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
