Annabelle is a playful 3 year old who prefers the company of dogs her size or larger, both males and females, though she recently started chasing smaller dogs. She absolutely loves snuggles, and belly rubs are her favorite. While her bark may sound intimidating, it`s always followed by drool and lots of affection.
Annabelle is house trained but needs regular potty breaks to avoid accidents. She enjoys a salmon-based diet, as chicken doesn`t agree with her digestive system. Having recently undergone cherry eye surgery, she’s recovering well. Annabelle is spayed, fully vaccinated, and knows basic commands like `sit,` `off,` `leave,` and `come.` While she’s working on leash training, she tends to `pancake` when she’s not in the mood to walk.
She adores her humans, loves being around other dogs, and even welcomes house guests with enthusiasm. However, she can be protective of her food, so feeding her separately is recommended. As a food-motivated pup, she’ll be easy to continue training.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
