My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you ever heard the saying, "Nature is the purest portal to inner peace"? I think these guys would have to agree... Meet Iris and Saffron!  Named after nature's wonders, there is no wonder why these siblings are so cute. Having come to us from unconventional circumstances, these two were once part of a massive litter with two moms. That's right! It's unclear as to which puppy belonged to whom, but one thing is for certain: there was more than enough sweetness to go around. These darling dogs love people almost as much as they love each other. As Terrier mixes, you can expect both Iris and Saffron to be social, active and confident in their new homes. They will grow to be small to medium-sized and will do well in a structured environment. That means training, treats, and plenty of kisses round the clock! So, what'll it be? Wanna adopt one—or both—of these little sprouts? Apply today and let a new friendship blossom!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
