Dog's Name: Pup Destiny (DES1024RANFS)
Estimated Breed: Lab mix
Approximate Age: 6 months
Approximate Weight: 20 LBS
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi there, I'm Pup Destiny! I came from an overcrowded shelter in Randolph, North Carolina. Things are looking up for me now as I have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and given a second chance in life. I am hoping to find my forever home soon. My foster says, "I love, love, love people and am very smart and attentive." I'm always up for a game of fetch or a playful tumble with my fellow canine pals. I'm sweet and friendly, always ready to greet everyone with a wagging tail and a happy bark. My energy knows no bounds, making me the perfect companion for long walks or exciting adventures. But I'm not all play, I love a good cuddle session too. My friendly nature and playful spirit make me a wonderful addition to a family. I am still young, and in my prime for training and socialization. Adopt me and let's create our own destiny together!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
