Dog's Name: Pup Bella (BEL1024LEXFD)
Estimated Breed: Lab / Hound mix
Approximate Age: 6 months
Approximate Weight: 20 LBS
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi there, I'm Pup Bella! I came from an overcrowded shelter in Lexington, North Carolina along with my sister, Pup Bambi. Things are looking up for us now as we have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and given a second chance at life. I'm hoping to find my forever home. Could that be with you? My foster says, "I am an angel. I am a little shy but warm up quickly." I adore playtime, especially with my doggy pals here. We have so much fun together! I'm also quite the sweetheart, making me a great companion for anyone. At my young age, I am in my prime for training and socialization too. I will make a great addition to an active home. I can't wait to find my forever people where I can share all my love and playfulness. Adopting me means adding a bundle of joy and endless love to your life! Submit an application today!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
