Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dulce is equal parts sassy and cuddly reports her foster mom. Don’t let her Resting Grumpy Cat face fool you, this kitty loves to cuddle! Her motor is definitely working- she purrs a lot. She's curious and alert to any noises causing her to explore by sniffing anything to check it out. Dulce is a pretty chill cat and loves to sit next to her foster mom - either next to her, in her lap, or fully curled up on her chest. She'll show off her very fluffy belly, although she doesn't like to be pet there.
Dulce will seek you out and be by your side throughout the day. She has some caution to new people, but warms up quickly. This poor girl was found abandoned in an apartment and rescued by CCR so we understand her caution. However, she wants a loving home and a human of her own.
Her favorite toys are wand toys like da bird, cat dancer,or a piece of fleece on a string. She'll happily hunt a laser pointer any day!
She’s a one-of-a-kind cat for sure. Once a day, she will grab this mouse toy that she otherwise has no interest in, meow mournfully, and drag it around the house, sometimes presenting it to her foster mom.
Dulce is independent and likes her space but also loves to cuddle. This chill cat is a loyal companion just waiting for her forever home.
Dulce has been declawed by whomever owned her before CCR found and rescued her.
If you would like to meet and possibly adopt this amazing feline, please email info@chicagocatrescue.org or call 773/203-0215. No texts, please.
CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home.
At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.
Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.
Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
