Introducing Genoa, a precious little lady with a heart full of sweetness!
This lovely spayed mastiff mix came to us with her siblings after being surrendered by their owner.
While Genoa may be a bit shy at first, she has a gentle spirit that shines through as she warms up to new friends.
Genoa is looking for a loving home where she can gain confidence and learn the ropes of puppyhood. She will thrive with some puppy training to help her become the wonderful companion we know she can be.

1.
Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
