This helps Cody's Friends Rescue with pet care costs.
I don’t know if a female takes offense at being called handsome, but handsome is the best word I can come up with to describe Phoenix’s appearance. She is stunning! Her alluring hazel eyes and standup ears make her literally a stand out! Phoenix is a one year old 64 pound black and tan German Shepherd that went to a local Shelter on 9/26 as a stray. The shelter could not figure out why the owners did not come for this amazing girl that has so much going for her. She has recently had a litter and her nipples are still extended. Maybe they kept the puppies to sell so didn't need her anymore.
She sits for treats and takes them gently. She comes when she’s called. When you sit down, she comes immediately to put her head on your lap and loves ear scratches. She is happy with pets, rubs and any kind of affection. She’s very loving, attentive, well-behaved, and gentle. She’s also very alert and explores her surroundings. She appears to be very smart. She is potty trained,, and she walks well on a leash. She’s got so much love to give someone or a family. She desparately wants to be with her people so she can spend more time sharing her love with them. Applications are at codysfriendsrescue.org
