I went to the shelter in mid-August to foster a senior dog. I heard a lady trying to give up Fluffy. He was sitting in her arms really calm. The shelter turned her away due to overcrowding and no appointment so I followed her out. About an hour later I was taking him home. Fluffy was matted, had long nails, not chipped or fully vaccinated. I've taken care of all of that. I've also put in him in fundamentals training classes and separation anxiety class. His separation anxiety trainer thinks he'll be better with time. Fluffy does well at daycare with other dogs and dog parks. He's excited to go on walks and see other dogs on those walks. Fluffy sometimes thinks he's my guard dog and will bark at night when he hears a noise to close to the front door. He has a cherry eye, which doesn't bother him. I have him on a vegan diet right now. He deserves a home that will continue his training, have a yard, and more people to love him.
