Meet Lyra, the ultimate velcro dog who is a 4 month old Husky/Doberman mix that loves nothing more than being by your side! This sweet 26 pound girl thrives on snuggles and affection, always eager to be close to her people. Lyra is a happy, playful puppy who’s quick to learn and adapt. She’s already making great progress with house training and keeps her crate spotless.

While a fenced yard isn’t required, it’s recommended since Lyra enjoys exploring the outdoors and may wander off on adventures. She’s described as friendly, outgoing, confident, and playful. Lyra has done well with dogs and kids, and her foster mom is confident she’ll fit in beautifully with most families—just no shared walls, as her Husky vocals can be a bit loud at times.

Lyra loves toys, fetch, car rides, and cuddling with her people. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate pup who will shower you with love, Lyra might be the perfect match for you!

Her minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
