My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Milk!

Milk is about 1 year old and was rescued from a local shelter not long ago. The shelter reached out as they were concerned that he might be blind.
We know special needs animals do not fare well at the animal shelters so we worked with our amazing foster team to make space for him.

Since being in our care we do believe he is partially blind. Since guinea pigs are known to have bad eyesight to begin with, being blind does not really affect them.

Milk is a super fun guinea pig, his foster mom Tracey said that he is not shy at all!

Milk will need another piggy as a friend, so if you have a single male lone guinea pig in need of a friend as well, contact us to set up a piggy playdate to see if they like each other!

Once paired, we require a 4x2 C&C cage or a double midwest cage setup. The 4x2 C&C cage measures 56" x 27". Please see our Supply list for links to approved habitats: https://www.socalguineapigrescue.org/supplies-list

All of our piggies are fostered in LA, OC and Ventura Counties so please message us if you would like to meet any of them.
