My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Cheyenne, the adorable two-year-old fawn Bulldog/Pug mix weighing 53 pounds. She is a playful, affectionate, energetic dog. Cheyenne gets along well with people and dogs, but may try to dominate alpha females so a home with males or passive females is preferred. She is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. She would do best in an active home. She is a sweetie with lots of love to give.

More about this rescue

The mission of the Raise the Bar-N Foundation is to rescue, care for, and provide compassion to abused and neglected animals, educate the community about responsible pet ownership, and provide opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. We strive to give the voiceless a voice.

My husband and I have been rescuing for years. We also do a great deal with the autism/special needs community. We are hoping to save more animals and help build bonds between animals and children with disabilities. My husband is a firefighter and ex-professional hockey player. I am an expert working with children with disabilities, especially autism. I am passionate about giving the voiceless a "voice".
