My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bugs: Your New Best Bud!

Hey there, I'm Bill, but my foster fam calls me Bugs (and I kinda dig it). I’m a super sweet guy who loves hanging out with myhumans, doing dog stuff, and making everyone smile.

Here’s the lowdown:
--- Training superstar: Housebreaking and crate training? Nailed it! Plus, I’m really into food, which makes training a piece of cake (well, not literally, but you get it).

--- Cool with the crew: I play great with other dogs, and I’m totally chill with the cat too. No drama here!

--- All about love and cuddles: I’ve adjusted super well in my foster home, and I’m just a happy-go-lucky pup looking for my forever humans.

Now, let’s be real for a sec. When I first came in, I had a tough time with my back legs, and my hips are a little shallow (I’m not really sure if it’s poor genetics or low-quality food). But don’t worry, with some good food and love, I’m getting stronger every day .I run and play with my dog pals now, but I need a home where the doggos aren’t too rough-and-tumble, and someone who’ll help me stay fit and healthy, so my joints stay happy.

Despite a rough start in life, I’m full of love and ready to find someone who’ll give me the awesome life I deserve. Could that be you?

I might need a little extra attention to ensure I stay healthy, but I promise to repay you with endless love, loyalty, and snuggles. If you’re looking for a gentle, resilient, and loving dog, I’m your guy! Come meet me, and let’s make some paw-some memories together!

Additional adoption info

The dogs in our care will be adopted out with an updated vet exam, they will be up to date on their rabies (if of age), and DHPP. All dogs will also be microchipped and dewormed. If they are of age, they will also be altered. We do not do pediatric spays or neuters so a deposit is required at the time of adoption, once the dog is altered, the deposit will be returned.

Due to the American Veterinary Medical Association's recommendation to not spay/neuter dogs under 6 or 12 months depending on breed and our vets recommendation. Large-breed puppies under 6-months will not be altered prior to adoption but do require a deposit that will be returned once your dog is altered. Small breed and adults that are 6-months or older, will be done prior to adoption.

During the time spent at Forever Fido, all dogs will be socialized with many confident and social dogs of all ages, safely interact with kids of many ages, appropriately meet a variety of humans, start potty and crate training, and begin basic puppy manners including impulse control.
